Wi-Fi Video Transmission

In AUTO and PRO modes, Protake introduces a groundbreaking Wi-Fi Video Transmission system.
You can wirelessly transmit video from one camera to up to four monitors (compatible with iPhones and iPads).
Watch up to four camera feeds on a single monitor.
Control the recording of all cameras remotely.
Monitor HDR and SDR video streams simultaneously on one screen.
Experience a seamless end-to-end mobile recording and monitoring solution provided by Protake.

Modes

AUTO mode: Optimized for vloggers and YouTubers, this mode allows for single-handed operation.
PRO mode: Designed for professional filmmakers, PRO mode aligns all camera information and control settings on one screen.
DUAL mode: Record video with two cameras simultaneously, either as Picture in Picture or as two separate files.
PORTRAIT mode: Utilize the LiDAR sensor and powerful processors of iPhone Pro and iPad Pro to capture "portrait mode video" with real-time blurred backgrounds.

Color

LOG: Protake's LOG gamma curve provides an authentic cinematic look that matches the industrial standard - ALEXA Log C. Your mobile device's color is strictly calibrated to ensure accurate representation of colors.
Cinematic Looks: Choose from a selection of cinematic looks, including Neutral Styles, Film Emulation (classic Kodak and Fuji cinema film), Movie Inspired (blockbusters and indie masterpieces), and ALEXA Looks.

Assistants

Monitoring tools: Waveform, Parade, Histogram, RGB Histogram, Audio Meter.
Composition assistants: Aspect Ratios, Safe Area, Thirds, Crosshairs, and 3-axis Horizon Indicators.
Exposure assistants: Zebra Strips，False Color, Exposure Compensation, Auto Exposure.
Focus assistants: Focus Peaking and Auto Focus.
Recording: Record Beeper, Record Flash, Volume Key Record.
Zooming and Focusing: A-B Point.

Data

Frame Rate Normalization: Protake solves the problem of non-standard variable frame rates commonly found in mobile devices. It ensures strictly constant frame rates of 24, 25, 30, 60, 120, etc.
File-naming: All video files saved by Protake follow a standardized naming system: Camera Unit + Reel Number + Clip Count + Date + Suffix. For example, "A001C00203_200412_IR8J.MOV".
Metadata: All relevant information such as device model, ISO, shutter angle, white balance, lens details, connected accessories, and location are recorded in the file's metadata.
Time code: Protake offers both Free Run and Record Run options for time code synchronization with your cinema cameras.
